Go and be reconciled

Dear brothers and sisters,

I have visited parishes where two jumuiya have not met together in four years, and nobody now remembers the whole of what began it.

Lent ends in a few weeks and the quarrel will still be there on Easter morning unless somebody goes first. Let it be you. It is a smaller thing than you have made it, and it is costing your parish more than you know.

I will ask each parish priest, at his next visit, what has been mended.
