Two deacons ordained priests

Two deacons of this diocese were ordained to the priesthood at the cathedral on Saturday morning, before their families, their home parishes and the priests who trained them.

Both will serve as assistants for their first year. Their appointments are published with the rest of the year's transfers, and take effect at the beginning of next month.

The diocese asks parishes to keep them in prayer through their first year.
